Hungry for burgers in the Seacoast yet?

I am! So I've rounded up my family's choices of favorite burger joints in the Seacoast, NH area, along with the reasons my family loves them — just in time for National Cheeseburger Day on September 18!

I've listed the best burgers in the Seacoast in alphabetical order:

BRGR Bar

34 Portwalk Place, Portsmouth; (603) 294-0902

What we love: With plenty of different specialty burger options, there is something for every taste. A kids menu and brunch are available, as well as adult milkshakes. The Thin Mint is my favorite. There are also vegetarian options.

The Goat

20 L Street, Hampton; (603) 601-6928
142 Congress Street, Portsmouth; (603) 590-4628

What we love: This country themed bar and grill is perfect to build-your-own burger or try one of their mouth-watering options from the menu. Additional perk: kids eat free on weeknights from 4 pm - 8 pm at all locations!

Lexie's

421 Central Ave, Dover
175 Main Street, Epping
82 Lincoln Street, Exeter
212 Islington Street, Portsmouth
(603) 815-4181

What we love: Now with multiple locations all over the Seacoast, Lexie's has been an icon in the burger industry. From burgers & fries to delicious shakes, there’s something for every appetite.

Gilley's Diner

175 Fleet Street, Portsmouth
(603) 431-6343

What we love: This nostalgic “lunch cart” is open late, perfect for a burger craving anytime. Known for having the “Seacoast’s best”, they serve up diner classics like burgers, dogs, and grilled cheese.
